LOS ANGELES — Actress Jaime King was surprised when her husband, Kyle Newman, filed for divorce. The couple, who have been married for 13 years, are now facing a legal battle over custody of their two children.

King is known for her television roles as Lemon Breeland in “Hart of Dixie” (2011-2015) and Rose in “Black Summer” (2019-2021) as well as films including “Sin City,” “White Chicks” and “Pearl Harbor.” The actress spoke out last year about losing sole custody of her sons James, 12, and Leo, 10, to her ex-husband.
