Apple today seeded the third betas of upcoming iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3 updates to developers for testing purposes, with the software coming a week after the release of the second betas. Registered developers can download the betas from the Settings app on the iPhone or iPad by going to the General section and selecting the Software Update option.

The thing the report may have missed was a change Apple has made to the way Safari reports version numbers. As Nick Heer points out over on Pixel Envy, Safari on iOS, iPadOS, and visionOS stopped listing the current version of the operating system as of the launch of the 26.0 OSes last year. Or at least, it stopped listing it in the same way.
